  • Candidate will interact directly with executive and management teams, other experienced analysts and development teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must. Candidate will gather and document functional requirements and work directly with our Magento practice manager and development teams to ensure a work product is delivered that meets those requirements.

    Familiarity with eCommerce best practices, common web technologies, software development methodologies, user interface design principals and web application design and architecture is required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives and refine project scope
    • Work closely with client throughout the project lifecycle to define business, functional and technical requirements and regularly communicate project progress, changes, risks, issues and other related items
    • Develop specifications that meet technical requirements including 3rd party software integration
    • Work with project team to implement and develop software that meets clients’ needs
    • Work with development teams to evaluate and recommend Magento extensions and/or custom developed features to meet technical requirements
    • Foster client relationships by establishing trust and consistently delivering quality work products
    • Assist with business development and generate sales or grow existing accounts wherever possible
    • Provide subject matter eCommerce and Magento expertise and consulting
    • Provide input on test cases to ensure features and functions meet all requirements
    • Assist with the estimating and scheduling of projects including scope, timelines and budgets
    • Manage project scope and change requests
    • Resolves or escalates issues as needed in a timely fashion
    • Perform final assessment and quality control of deliverables before delivery to client
    • Manage and help plan Agile sprints
    • Provide implementation and post-implementation support as needed

    Nice to Have

    • VersionOne experience or proficiency in other Agile methodologies
    • Technical web development background including PHP, XML, MySQL, SCSS, CSS
    • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization, digital marketing and advanced Google Analytics setup and reporting

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Scope and assist with documentation of potential or active projects
    • Work closely with Technical Lead and client during requirements gathering and documentation process
    • Assist with the estimating and scheduling of projects
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently from initial conception through launch
    • Collaborate with business owners and operational teams to identify requirements
    • Manage a wide range of day-to-day client interaction
    • Resolve design or resource issues before they impact budget or cause schedule delays
    • Identify, document, and manage scope or deliverable change requests, whether initiated internally or by the client to ensure timely and profitable delivery
    • Ensure projects are implemented according to requirements
    • Develop and tightly manage timelines for various sized projects to ensure projects are launched on a timely basis
    • Actively assist on projects where skills and knowledge allow for such
    • Independently test new software or enhancements to existing software and manage project testing activities with developers, testers and clients
    • Perform final assessment and quality control of deliverables before delivery to client
    • Increase the value of assigned projects through pro-active strategic advice, direction, and upselling of project features and options
    • Manage and help plan Agile sprints
    • Address and remove roadblocks impacting the Agile teams ability to complete sprint deliverables
    • Ability to think critically and problem solve even when you might not be the subject matter expert on the issue
    • Maintain a high level of quality and consistency on all project features
    • Regularly communicate and update client stakeholders and management on project progress, changes, risks, issues and any project related items
    • Provide implementation and post-implementation support as needed
    • Keep up with online, mobile or industry trends as well as competitive trends

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Project management experience preferably in web-based company
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff from entry level employees to C-level executives
    • Ability to multi-task and strong time organizational skills
    • Skilled at working independently as well as in a team setting
    • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
    • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
    • Understanding of user interface best practices, web application design, usability and responsive websites
    • Understanding of basic web technologies
    • Ability to document technical requirements
    • Hands-on WordPress experience, use or implementation of custom themes and configuration
    • Friendly personality and positive attitude
